Lol. I was wondering the same thing.

HOM would be great as a Valentine's Day single. I can just hear it now in Valentine's commercials. Maybe it can be a video with her walking around and touching people and them getting happy or whatever and passing it along like a disease. I think I saw that concept in a video, though. A 1980 video or something. I know it had an old lady in a scooter in the video....

Sort of an odd strategy, I wonder if it will work.

I'd think it'd be a better strategy for a very unsuccessful album... and isn't H&T at least moderately successful? Most people know the single is out right? They might be like where is single 2... then get bored & stop caring...

I kind of think this is the sort of strat they should have used back when White Houses bombed.. and honestly I think the only song from that album that would have revived her career at that point would have been Who's To Say. That's a great song, imo. I wish she'd have stuck it on H&T for the heck of it honestly haha.

HOM was perfect for the upcoming months, it's kinda dark and eerie. if it's released in February i doubt it will catch on, i have this bad feeling about it. they really should send it for adds next month, or Janurary but not later!!

if they blow up this chance, i don't know..

wth are they doing :/

Martin.

They're probably planning something big for 2008 with the album aswell.

we'd cross the deepest oceans
cargo across the sea...

anyways.
haha

I think the video should be white houses kind of, like her dancing. That was an amazing music video. I just picture her dancing to this music
I don't really see like an actual plot and story line kind of video....
you know?
Peace

The song definately has an oriental (I don't really like the word oriental) feel. The piano part sounds like bells being struck, like... the verse and such, I dunno, I just think that part would translate extremely well into an arrangement for bells.

And she sings about Tibet, and provides some vivid imagery in regards to that.

She also sings about descendants, and in asian cultures there's a lot of ancestor worship and such. Like, I could easily picture the bridge of the song being shot in a shrine or something, I dunno. There's a lot of imagery related to asian culture. If it's intentional or not, that's another point.
And it's bad news, baby it's bad news
It's just bad news, bad news, bad news
'Cause you're just damage control
For a walking corpse like me - like you,
'Cause we'll all be portions for foxes
Yeah, we'll all be portions for foxes.

i find it weird how they're doing this, like, in feb.

anyways, i can totally picture something like ordinary day && atm for the video.
vanessa just at random places, playing&&singing.
and then the backup people coming in, singing with her.
let's make this OUR story
let's LIVE in the glory

Hopefully.

Maybe they'll promote this as the "first" single, and really prepare with big promo. Could be.
