Favorite Vanessa Carlton cover

Hey guys! so this is Where The Streets have no name vs. Paint it Black, both covered by Vanessa Carlton. Paint it Black (by Rolling Stones) on BNN, and Where The Streets Have No Name (by U2), on her UK (i dunno if this is right) version of Harmonium. Which is better? Which does it better? the original band, or VC?

Greensleeves is an excellent song too, really love the way she does it.

Paint it Black. I only found out that was a cover after I played the original on Guitar Hero III.

I dont like the beginning of Where The Streets Have no Name so I never listen to it fully.

I've never heard Vanesa's cover of Where The Streets Have No Name, but I must admit I am a total sucker for the Paint It Black song (in both versions) but I absolutely LOVE the cover way more than the original. I like how the instruments go in that one. Especially the intro, and the thing that fades in before she says "No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue..."

Paint It Black is such a vunderful song.  :lol:
