We'll see what happens.
I'm glad it's not starting off like, #40, though!
That's what she said.

Really, if it doesnt hit the billboard top 100 then the records a bit of a failure. Unfortunately, even Harmonium spawned a top 100 song and it was not a huge hit by any stretch of the imagination.

It's unfortunately not enough to resurrect Heroes and Theives, but hopefully the single will atleast do well enough to stay afloat unlike Nolita Fairytale. Also Top 40 Adult doesn't mean anything unless the single is also in the Top 100. Why must the charts be so cruel? lol

Critically, it's not, but in terms of sales...

I think Vanessa needs to go back to Ron Fair and make a song named A Million Kilometers, and THEN she can release Hands On Me. Ordinary Day's popularity (it got to #30 on the Hot 100, which is okay compared to how she's doing now) is probably just riding off of the success of A Thousand Miles.
And needless to say you're the one that I need the most...

just remember that vanessa didnt become a singer to become famous, she just wanted her music to reach people, she said that in pleased to meet you. she doesnt have this job for the goal to be famous and make tons of money. thought the album has only sold around 60,000 albums, her music is strong, and beautiful and thats all that matters. She couldve done more publicity, but thats just not who she is i guess.

That's true and all, but the fans want her to do better, so she can be able to release more music, if things continue like this, we may lose a great artist from ever reaching the mainstream.

I believe she does. And we should take whatever the album will go, although we, as fans, are hoping more, of course...but I don't think we're gonna lose her if the album doesn't sell well..and ya, she will continue to make music, no matter what..

I'm still mad at OD's peak on Billboard Hot 100. On every US other charts, the song peaked in the top 5 while only #30 on top 100!! Still don't know why that chart is the official chart for the US.
Even Why Do You Love Me by Garbage and Stronger Woman by Jewel got to the top 100 X_X
