Just got back from this show and she was beautiful and amazing as always! She was wearing a really pretty, long halter dress that looked like it had a floral pattern on it. It was an outdoor show at some festival they have there every year. The people were really obnoxious and rude but she played and sounded awesome and she had a guitarist! The setlist was:
Nolita Fairytale
Ordinay Day (lots of people singing along)
Hands On Me
Heroes and Thieves
My Best (when she said she was going to play "MY Best" some people screamed and she goes "Wow, like twelve people know it." It was funny)
C'est La Vie (on the Rhodes with the usual "The meaning of C'est La Vie means F It intro)
The One (on the Rhodes also)
A Thousand Miles (tons of people singing along)
Home

Right before she played ATM, Ziggy came over and said something to her and when he walked away she was like, "Ziggy has great hair. That's what he just came over to tell me." That was pretty funny. It turns out what he really needed to tell her was that she could only play one more song cause they thought it was going to rain. But after ATM it wasn't raining so she played Home. During one song a train was nearby and blowing its horn and her and the guitarist stopped and waited and the horn just kept going and going lol.
During the show people were talking very loudly around me and people would leave and walk really slowly right in front of you. It bugged the crap out of me but I guess that's what you can expect at a free outdoor show. There was a pretty good amount of people there, though. I'd say probably a thousand.
Also, before and after she came out, they were playing Bob Marley on the speakers! I thought that was cool and she probably had something to do with that since she loves Bob Marley. They were also playing Bob Marley before she came out at the show at Birchmere last November.
I didn't get any pics because my camera is a piece of crap, but there was a guy from the radio there taking pics so I bet they'll have some up on their website.
Anyways, this brings my long review to an end but she played and sounded flawless! I loved hearing all the songs with the guitar, too. She is so awesome and I can't wait to see her again!

Current takes me out, what will be, will be. Floating on the sea, stars are watching me.

They put a couple pics of Vanessa up at Q98. The one pic they have of her performing is kinda crappy. Then they have another pic of Vanessa with the radio staff.
