Okay I know some people couldn't be paid enough to run long distance, but I'm in love with it.  Anyone else share the passion?

yep: it's always hard to run: pain in muscles and when I breathe but finally I like running...weird!

I've always enjoyed the competitive side of running, especially as a School
sport, where my High School had such an esteemed record for turning out
'track talent '. Alhough I wwasn't anything like in the class of those clearly
with considerable natural ability, being part of sports carnivals was great -
you could always rely on someone from your 'squad' to finish in 1st place!

Outside of that, I'd have to say running with a Rugby ball toward a try line
rates pretty highly aswell; pity my parents decided to nip my career in the
bud in lieu of constant injuries to my older brother. Note my Avatar theme

I had horrible shin splints when I first began but once I got over it, it was amazing.  Almost like when I'm running nothing can hurt me. It's this battle I fight against myself to reach my goal and when I get there it's like I'm that much stronger than when I began. I know it probably sounds ridiculous. I love running probably as much as I love music. :D I can see though where people wouldn't like it, you're right, it can hurt

I like running.

Once the teacher said we had to run 5 laps on the track, I ran ten.

I like running, but I especially like listening to Vanessa Carlton while doing it.
And needless to say you're the one that I need the most...

I had a dilemma today; the only way I was going to make an appointment
by midday was to run the 21.5KM; up to a ½ marathon :dr evil:  I managed to
postpone the appointment I had until Friday... and it looks like I've landed
a job by virtue of my experience (I can't wait to offer them my "2007 Wine
Service Award" plaque to hang on their wall). It has to carry some Kudos!

i love running so much, it's so therapeutic. i think it was vanessa who got me into it a bit more actually! i've been doing it for a couple of years now but i remember being inspired to keep it up when she was running the marathon and things

I like running, though I hate competitive running, just like I hate competitive anything.  It's fun, I get to places quickly, and it's good for you.

I've been able to run 6min 10 secs recently on a mile, which sucks. oh well, I'll have to try harder, my best is 5 min 58 seconds, which is better.
