who listens to 30,000 songs? i think thats a little obsessive. I love the touch though. i need a new pod, mine got stolen last year at school, and my camera just got stolen too. my school sucks with theft.

i wanted to get an iPod (i have a Samsung MP3...)

but when we went to my dad's friend's electronic store here in Lebanon, he advised my dad not to buy me one cuz they are very fragile and tend to break or get a virus easily...

im very disappointed because ive been waiting for an iPod for while...for the virus part....i could scan the songs before i put them on my iPod....but what abt it being fragile??
Anyone with previous iPod experience??

iPods suck, get a Cowon, IRiver or Samsung, those are good (good built quality and good audio quality) and cheaper! (plus you don't get stuck with stupid iTunes)

Well I guess everyone has their favorite MP3 Player.  iPods are now really going past the MP3 player stage.  It is now a gaming, email, video, wifi, and now a platform for all kinds of new applications (which are amazing by the way).  Ghis you are right about iTunes though....it needs to be DRM free real soon.  Amazon is catching up.  That is my only complaint about iTunes.  The touch and the iPhone are incredible.  I have had 2 iPhones since launch (the original and 3G) and I think that it is the most incredible device I have ever used.  Others will be out soon though with Google's Android.  I am anxious to see what that will do for competition.

I like the new way the nano looks now!

Current takes me out, what will be, will be. Floating on the sea, stars are watching me.
