I actually like the idea of her scoreing a film. That would be interesting altough id want her to sing too which i dont think is how that works. A new alblum I would love. It would be nice if that came in 2 years or so.

I don't want her to rush a new album, but I don't really want to wait 3 years either. Haha that sounds exciting that she's starting to write again and with Stevie. Maybe there might be a slightly more rock element in her songs.
Peace

I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
That's what she said.

Me too, i hope she posts lyrics or something, that would be nice to have a little update, at least she is somewhat keeping us updated, it might be through interviews, but at least she's giving us something.

I'm not surprised... one of the other posts she mentions wandering the streets and jotting down lyrics... something like that... she must be ready with a bunch of songs by now...

I guess the people attending the concerts in august will have to keep their recorders ready... Have a feeling she'll premier some of her stuff then...

I doubt she will play any new material we haven't heard.  This tour is to showcase H&T.  Any shows after this tour with JR might have some luck hearing fresh songs...I think the setlist to the upcoming shows will probably all be similar to the setlist I posted yesterday.  8-9 song, 45 min set.

There could be a possibility you know... Harmonium was out in '04 but we heard the first concert recordings of (PY)HOM, the one and this time in '05...

But she  could also prolly just stick to a setlist as you said...

The news is all good, and anything V can bring to the world of film scores will
be appreciated by fans. Costa Rica may even be isolated enough to put up a
post after such a long break. I'm sure it will provide V plenty of inspiration  :D

Peace

I think it would be cool if she came up with some sort of children's show or cartoon idea like the guy from Outkast did. I just always have thought her sort of music and voice could work well in that capacity. If she was going to do a film score, I think it would work well maybe with Pixar or Disney if they ever make a movie about a young girl. hehe.

Her own disc of children's lullabies would be cute too. If she sang that could technically be an album hehe.

But I do like her normal albums too!
