Do you miss Vanessa's "Dark Side"?

Do you miss Vanessa's "dark side"/ "goth"-ness that she showcased through songs like "Wanted", "Half A Week Before the Winter" etc. or do you like the direction her music is taking now?

I know her music was never all "dark", but it was a big element in her music and now it's mostly gone...

I voted the last becuase I do like all her music but i DO MISS THAT ELEMENT in her music. There should be another option like that.

I think she should write more dark songs, but heroes and thieves was very truthful and gave us the shape of her life. I really like the dark music, its great, maybe she should intermix some, idk. anything from her is great, BUT I DO AS WELL MISS THE DARK MUSIC VERY MUCH!

'H&T' certainly has a lack of those dark melodies and lyrics we had on the other two albums.  There's no rinsing or secret needs.  I kinda miss that too.

*cough* all is Well should have been in the album *cough* even vanessa said so! haha yes, I miss her dark songs, they're the reason that I fell in love with her music but I'll take what she has now cause it's awesome but it would be way better to have a balanced album with light and dark songs in it like Harmonium.

I think all is well might not have mass appeal to people who arent vanessa fans but for us it shoul have been on the alblum.

YES, i miss the darkly elements. When I first heard Fools Like Me I wanted to vomit because it was not at all as dark as the live performance. All as Well was a cool dark song though, too bad it wasn't released.

I love all of Vanessa's songs...but I think this is the first CD that all the songs are actually my favorite!
I never have to skip a song cuz Im not in the mood to listen to it then...Its nice :lol :lol:LOL

BUT I DO LOVE VANESSA'S DARK SIDE....THE LYRICS ARE THE BEST...but i enjoy the piano music in H&T!

I miss it, I can't stand songs like "come undone." I miss songs like the original "pretty baby" not the radio edit (although that one was good too). I liked "fools like me" live but not the CD version, its too pop for me. Maybe the next album will have more of be not nobody to it.
