New album - infos et wishes

What are your wishes for the new album ?

I know its most likely not gonna happen, but I wish All Is Well would be on the new album!

id also like to add that singles don't have the impact that they once had...people are going to buy an album, or they are not....simple as that.  it's best to go indie/viral and then multiple songs can find their way to peoples ears...not just one or two songs...ya know?  mandy moore is taking that route and i believe it works.....

No? She just said that every artist has a song that they regret not putting on an album, and "All Is Well" was hers.

I hope she gets the Harmonium magic back. I loved H&T, but they're barely comparable. Harmonium is still just soooo amazing. God, I wish I had more song from her like that.

A mix between H&T and Harmonium would be perfect for me. Get the dark songs and mix them with some lighter ones. I enjoyed both albums immensely, but both were too "themed" for my taste.

London is gorgeous and I am excited for the sound of a new album if that's the direction she is going in.

I would hope for more songs sounding like London, because especially in the chorus, I like what she does with her voice and the piano.. I can't really describe it, but it's kind of haunting, in a way. I think I have to agree with those who like the Harmonium sound.

Carnival or/and Dark Carnival.
Definitely will be a big hit for her.

I would like a stripped down album. Just vanessa, piano, a couple of strings and minimal percussion, and an acoustic guitar. That would be nice. Not a mainstream album at all but this is what she does best. I remember hearing fools like me for the first, just her and the piano and it was gorgeous. Then the album version came and I was disappointed because it was a little over produced.

I agree. Like the campfire version of More Than This that was released for that Tibet CD. I prefer that to the H&T version of More Than This.

I do totally agree with you IfICouldFall. I hope Vanessa meant doing something like that when she told us her next record would be more "boutique".
