« on: March 06, 2010, 12:56:38 pm »

Yes, finally, the second album of Kate Nash is on the way after 3 years of waiting! My Best Friend is You will be release on April 2010. You can hear the first single here: Do Wah Doo!

And Amy Macdonald, a Scottish artist (not English but it's very near  :P), released her second record. It called "A Curious Thing".
The singles are "Don't Tell Me That is Over" and "Spark"

I like Kate Nash. Her first record was fun & quirky.

I love the new single. It's kind of a throwback to 60's girlgroups, and the little nod to Regina's "That Time" is cool.

I love Kate Nash. I didn't know her second albums was out until yesterday when I found it on Rhaspody. I was like "Woohoo". I really love Early Christmas Present and Pickpocket. Her voice is really different.
I've been hearing alot about Amy Macdonald lately, so maybe I'll look her up and see if I like! :)

I love Kate's new album. Can't stop liststening to it.

My favourites are;

"Paris"
"Kiss That Grrrl"
"Don't You Want To Share The Guilt"
"Do-Wah-Doo"
"Take Me To A Higher Plane"
"Early Christmas Present"
"Later On"
"Pickpocket"

A really cool album. Indie/punk with a bit of 60s girl group thrown in for good measure. She's come on leaps & bounds since her debut.

"Early Christmas Present"

I love the shout-y bits in the background, so catchy. And I have exactly the same favorites 8) Mansion Song is weird, I've got to find a french translation of this track. It sounds like a Hitler's speech but about sex :D

Haha.

I do like it. The message in it is cool. The a'capella bit at the end is creepy when you're trying to sleep - I thought I had a five year old female ghost in my room for a second there.
