Anyone heard "Perfectly Lonely" by John Mayer? Imagine Vanessa's voice singing with him on the chorus. I think they would go really well together.

Didn't they used to date eachother back in 2003 or so?

gosh, I hope not.  She'd be slummin. hehe, I'm not a John Mayer fan, but maybe she could elevate him if they did a duet.

Yes, Vanessa and John used to date. I heard somewhere that he wrote Your Body Is a Wonderland about her. I don't know if that's true, though.

They dated around the time he recorded that song, so I wouldn't doubt it. Coincidentally, both of their first records came out in the same year!

The song has been rumored to have been inspired by actress/singer Jennifer Love Hewitt; However, it was written and initially recorded long before the two even met. Mayer once said during his "As/Is" tour, that the song was about "girly parts", but this was later denied. During his "VH1 Storytellers" performance, Mayer stated that he wrote the song about his first girlfriend at age 14.

I'd love to see Vanessa sing with Brandon Flowers too. I love his new album! I met him back in August.

Sara Bareilles would be cool.

I think it would be cool to hear a harmony with Adele. Adele's voice is powerful when she's high and Vanessa has a nice low voice. I think it could go well.

How about The Fray? I think Isaac Slade or Joe King would sound good.
