Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart Question
« on: February 24, 2011, 11:52:09 am »
I just saw that Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart are going to be touring together this year.  Does anybody know if Vanessa will be making an appearance?  How awesome would that be?!  I doubt she would since she has all the new album stuff going on, but who knows.

Thanks

Sarah

Maybe she''l be an opener or some sort? That'll be cool.

That's what I was thinking too.  So far I can't find anything that says she will.  It was be great exposure for her new album.

That would be awesome, but I doubt it.

Rod and Stevie...seems kind of weird to me.  Adding Vanessa would only make it weirder.  LoL.  Plus, I think Vanessa needs to headline her own tour get someone to open for her (remember when Maroon 5 opened for her??? I do.)

These seem like 'double' concerts to me, so adding an opener would make them too long, I think.

agreed.  I don't think she would perform unless she was just a special guest of Stevie's for one song or something.  Hopefully she will be too busy with her own tour to do even that.

I don't think she will be. The shows are supposed to be 3 hours long so I just don't see there being time for Vanessa to open. But then again, when Stevie toured with Don Henley in '05, they had an opener. So I guess there is always the possibility.

Stevie has a new album coming out May 3 and she plans on touring for that as well. I imagine that's when Vanessa will tour with her again, if she's going to. (Fingers crossed).
