I was in NYC for a school trip last week with my humanities class New Dimensions (mrchiorian.com)
We ate lunch it Little Italy yesterday and I was burning up the entire time because I knew I was 3 minutes away from V's apartment. I dragged a friend with me and we went inside every freaking shop in Nolita asking where V lives, I wrote her a letter : ). Nobody knew where she lived and most had no idea who she was which kinda pissed me off, isn't NOLITA FAIRYTALE their alma moter? haha. Finally I went into Ruby's and asked the guy, who had no idea who I was talking about. I also went to that cafe when V sits at in the music video, still they had no idea who she was. My friend was getting tired so I promised him to just ask one more person. We walked into a boutique and I asked her, she smiled and asked if we came all the way from OH to stalk Vanessa Carlton. I was like, "I'M HER BIGGEST FAN!" She smiled and whipped out her phone and texted a source and told me to leave my number with her because she knew this guy knew where she lived. I left my number with her, but she never texted me =\. We trekked onto SoHo to meet up with the rest of the group. I saw the Vosges store and had a lightbuld moment. I timidly walked into the shop and asked them if they knew where I could find her. The laughed at me again, but said she stopped by all the time and I could wait for her if I wanted, i really didn't want to..haha. After I left the shop I remembered my letter, and felt like running back in the shop and asking them to give it to her next time they see her, but i didn't, I was too embarrassed. It was still super fun to roam past her apartment a few times looking for her
