Hey! Vanessa is doing a free concert in Santa Rosa, CA! It's about 45 minutes North of San Francisco! It's also where i live hee hee! But ya it's completely free! Here's the link and info!

Backyard Concert # 3 : Wednesday, July 6th -
A "Sister Station Show"

starring Vanessa Carlton
with the Pat Jordan Band

The Backyard is located here at the Station House:
3565 Standish Ave. off Todd Road exit on 101 in Santa Rosa.
Our Backyard opens at 5:30. Music at 6.
Low lawn chairs only, please. No coolers, no dogs.
Kids welcome! Food and beverage available for sale.

An extra note, there's a typo on the website " Bring out the whole family for this special Wednesday night Backyard Concert, to hear your favorites from Vanessa and new music from her album Carousel."
What is up with people not getting the album title right! It's either "Rabbit on the Run" and now apparently it's "Carousel"....

Is it easy to go to Santa Rosa without a car? Or maybe I can carpool with someone and chip in for gas?

Ya it's pretty easy it's really easy you just go north up the Golden Gate Bridge and then just stay North bound on Hwy 101. Also there's no toll going North through the Golden Gate!

Yeah but I won't be driving! And seems like there's no bus in the evening to come back to SF!

oh i'm sorry...  without a car it's hard. You have to take like 3 buses to get back to SF. Sorry!!

OMG! I want to go to this show so badly but have no way of getting there! I live in SF and am going to that show, but want to go to this show!

@AisforAdrn, well, my plan is riding the bus there but I will have to spend the night in Santa Rosa. That's 2 hotels for that night (one in SF and one there) but I don't see any other solution to this!

Yeah....eek. That sounds not so fun. Where are you staying in Sf?? I'm thinking I really really want to go to the Santa Rosa show but I have 5 friends who are coming that night so I don't think I will be able to go :/

My hotel is on Kearny st. Yeah, I don't really wanna pay for 2 hotels but seems like it's my only chance to attend the show.
