just got home!

here are some pics while i go upload all the videos to youtube




i don't remember the exact order but the songs she played were (correct me if i forgot any):

my god it was amazing. and i was front and center so the videos are reallyyyy good! i can't wait to upload them all.

I liked this setlist... I'd change ATM for other BnN song, but it's good that she played songs from all the three albums!

best vanessa show i've attended yet. very beautiful, pure, heartfelt.

again, i've got a full show in audio but fairly awful quality that does NO justice to how good she sounded and especially no justice to good to how skye's violin sounded. will upload upon request, though.

setlist
1. hands on me *

3. fairweather friends *

5. carousel *
6. dear california *
7. i don't want to be a bride
8. white houses

10. a thousand miles

stand-out performances starred. i would star "london" but lately it's been consistently perfect in my humble opinion. but wow, "hands on me." and audience was definitely there for her. lovely show.

also, beginning to recognize some people who go to the nyc shows! :)

I'm soo glad the audience were great.

There's been too many shows recently where they've just been talking amongst themselves. Granted, they didn't pay. But it's always nice seeing an audience screaming for Vanessa in the right places & then shutting up when it's time for her to perform her magic.

Wow... wish I could have flown to NYC for this.... :) Did she really play the xylophone and the violin?! I hope the show I see is like this.... :)

oh yes, definitely a really respectful audience. bookstore crowd, literally at a bookstore, and they responded very warmly to her set. overheard one conversation that was a lot of praise from someone who didn't really know about her but came to the concert with a friend who was a fan. lots of converts, i think! this record really holds out a hand to a different audience that could really come adore her.

also, magical is a good word for it. definitely a magical show.
