Vanessa Songs that impressed....

What are some songs that immediately impressed you? I know we all love all of her songs, but weren't there a few that just immediately impressed you bigtime?

For me (keep in mind that I play the piano):
- Wanted- Heard it a while after I had the album and was like... wow... piano playing.... wow.. :)
-Papa- The piano=wow! :) I loved the end... that just impressed me so much
-Annie- Come on... the lyrics and the music are amazing!
-Hands on Me- The lyrics changed my life.... (they were the ones that made me a fan)
-Home- The outro... is perfect...
-Heroes and Thieves- The instrumental pieces and the lyrics are amazing!
-Swindler- Piano playing, especially at the end, is just a wow....
-All I Ask- The instrumental parts amazed me the first time I heard them....

That's it for me... i think. :P Can't wait to add more with ROTR! :)

A Thousand Miles- It still is a classic, long may she play it live  :)
Pretty Baby- Just loved the gentle melody.
All Is Well - Probably the song that made me sit up and think , this Vanessa girl is quite good  :)
San Francisco - melodically one of my favorite Vanessa songs.
Aferglow- Both melodically and lyrically I love this.
Spring Street - Especially the bridge " ... friends become strangers "  so sadly very true  :( :(
Home - Don't know why, but the lyrics always make me sad, I still loved it from first listen though, the instrumental outro is just perfect  :)

Actually to be honest I could list every song from Heroes and Thieves that impressed me from first listen.

Superhero - melodically it got me immediately .

All I Ask - lyrically, vocally, and melodically, won me on first listen.

I think the number one song for me that impressed was More Than This

I frickin love that song with a burning passion. Haha. The lyrics are just amazing and the piano is so beautiful. It remains my all time fav(:
The song may be over, but the music never ends.

Twilight--second best on BNN
White Houses--classic
Half A Week--the imagery is stunning. I wish they would make a movie out of this.
My Best--yes, it certainly was her best
Come Undone--immediate favorite from H&T
Fairweather Friends--top 3 Nessa song, imo.
The Marching Line--cried the first time I heard it on the Four Elements video. Top 3 Nessa song.

Honorable mention

IDWTBAB--the "kings under lavender skies" part is classic.
