Really, this tutorial she agreed to film is ground-breaking. So delighted. Like many others, I learned 'Carousel' by ear on piano. Watching the clip, I was really focused on comparing my interpretation to her original one. Probably one of the closest moments we'll have with her, aside from actually meeting her face to face. : )

I was watching the master class video a few times to try and see how they printed the Carousel sheet music and it looks like from my screen shot it'll have the vocal line in the piano accompany part, but that's okay!  We can have our piano transcribing experts help us out! I hope.

u mean in the sheet music book? Well, this might not be true for all the songs. I have a songbook and some of the songs have an accurate real transcription, some have accurate transcription and vocal lines mixed together, and some r vocal lines only. So it depends... haha....

Yeah, from what I see, the upper staff (whatever you call it) follows the melody. But the left hand is not just the bass. (: That's good news.
