The kid from Britain's Got Talent is about to release his album and his first single is A Thousand Miles. It's bad, it's on youtube. I'm on my phone so can't link. As Simon Cowell is involved it will be all over the UK, eurgh. Dreading it.

The piano/strings sound so "computarized".  I dont think his voice fits the original song! of course Nothing will ever top it!

Ugh, I couldn't get past 1 minute of his version. It's terrible! The piano sucks, his voice is childish (well, he's a kid but yeah) and does he have to mimic EVERY SINGLE LYRIC in the video, seriously? I mean, thanks but I understand English, just fyi.

I wish Vanessa would be able to block the release of the song but I don't think she can. From what I know, if someone pays the rights to use your song, they just can. Correct me if I'm wrong.

On the other hand, I think it is quite beneficial to V. She mentioned in one of her later shows that the royalties of the ATM (notice how I used 'the' helped her to fund ROTR.

Still, whoever will buy the rights to use the song (I remember somebody who used the riff of ATM) would not, in my opinion, really match the original.
