Portraits of everyday Californians, celebrities, military personnel and more in support of marriage equality will fill the House of Blues in West Hollywood on "No H8 Day" (Dec. 13) to mark the 3-year anniversary of the NOH8 Campaign.The photo project and silent protest was launched in 2011 by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley, following the passage of Proposition 8 in California, which amended the state Constitution to ban same-sex marriage. To date, NOH8 has compiled over 18,000 portraits.The campaign's "Save the D8" states: "This is our time to get together and rally support as we head into an election year. We all must remember, marriage equality is not just a California issue, it's a world wide issue. Let's support the states that need our help in 2012!"Doors to the House of Blues will open at 7 p.m., with Red Carpet arrivals between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Bouska is scheduled to photograph a few "VIPs" on the stage during the event.Some familiar faces will be on hand to reveal their NOH8 photos for the very first time, including Rebecca Black and Shay Mitchell. Portraits from Vanessa Carlton, Audra McDonald, and Will Swenson will also be unveiled, according to the event announcement.Festivities include an open bar from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., along with live performances at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and the special evening is open to guests of all ages.
