Twilight Manuscript
« on: January 02, 2013, 10:06:31 am »
I was doing some shopping online and wanted to expand my collection of Vanessa Carlton Memorabilia so that I have a nice collection to look back at when I'm older and I appreciate it.  I was searching through eBay when I discovered the manuscript of Twilight with a rough version of the orchestration CD track, so naturally I was highly interested and looked at it for a while.  It ended up being a Christmas present to me from one of my friends who knows my love of Vanessa.  So, I thought I'd share this with my fellow Nessaholics!  If the pictures aren't showing up, please let me know. If you listen very carefully (with headphones) to the audio track I posted to my YouTube account, you can hear the conductor counting off in the beginning, and hear Vanessa singing bits and pieces. Enjoy =)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=8RqYuAfG3PY

Wow, collector stuff here! Thank you for sharing this to us :) I wonder what's the story behind it and why it showed up on eBay 10 years later. It's so fascinating...

The seller on eBay just said it was left and found in a storage locker.  There really wasn't anything else they said but I absolutely love it and I wish I could get V to sign it.

I hope she tours again within a 3 hour radius from the Pittsburgh area, I'd love to have her sign it!! Any suggestions as to what type of casing or frame I could put it in to preserve it? It is about 10 ish years old and the paper is old I wanna preserve it well!

I'm not entirely sure how to do that. Someone can use my YouTube video and try it through that if they'd like, I'm not that tech-savvy. =)

Omg... this is so precious. What a great find!!!! This is one of my favorite tracks from Be Not Nobody!!

Is there any way you could upload the ripped mp3/audio to mediafire.com?

Youtube degrades the quality. I'd like to hear this in its richest form if you're able to!

Thank you!
