Tonight was an Intimate Evening with Vanessa Carlton. Such great show!! And she came out after the show to sign.

Sounds like a great show again, but with a longer setlist which is always better. Did you manage to meet her and get some merch signed? I'm so envious of you guys in the US, hopefully one day she will do some UK shows.

We did talk to her she was happy to see us. She did say that the album would be out next year and we underscored that we've been around 12 years and that would be fine. We would wait.

It was really good show in a good venue. The acoustics were great and it felt very intimate. I enjoyed seeing and hearing VC live so much that I felt like I was in my "happy place" the whole time.
I was so glad to hear all the new material too. I loved the story telling between songs and I am really looking forward to the album and hopefully I will get to see her perform again before the album comes out too. 

We didn't get to stay afterwards, but I was happy to hear VC mention during the performance that she would be sticking around afterwards to sign for fans.

For anyone who can catch VC live during this tour, but hasn't bought tickets yet to a show nearby, please do it! You will not regret it!

Yes, of the 3 shows it was our fave!! Skye's looping in Willows was amazing!!
Too  bad you didn't get to say hi to her or us  :(

skye's part in that song is why its one of my favs; it reminds me of an irish jig.  thanks for the pics! I am not a fan of her jewelry here, ick.

FABULOUS videos (these and the other shows, but this is a particularly good show, i think). thank you. she's breaking my heart with "home" right now. outta the park, imo better than when she was touring for H&T. as much as i love, love, love the dreamy philosophical stuff, there were some really beautiful passionate moments on H&T and earlier. thanks for the vids!!
