for my history project i need to name musicians who were big in the 80's! please name some for me! i was like barely 5 in 89... so i dont remember

I have no idea about the U.S but here (i was born in '87! lol) there was: The Smiths, Madness (hahaha), Duran Duran, The Cure, Culture Club, Nick Kershaw, Echo and the Bunnymen, INXS, Depeche Mode.... ahh thank Matt for a lot of these...

Tribe? I consider them early 90's! The Low End Theory was popular in the early 90's....

the first album was pressed in 89....Low End Theory was the 2nd Album
Peoples Instinctive Travel was the first one
I think they were even out earlier than that

yea I guess they are technically they are 80s but then again so would be Marilyn Manson and No Doubt... They both started in the late 80s.
