my idea was to have little snippits from her music videos and write the stuff on it...for the avatars...how big can the animated stuff be? I don't want to go over a frame limit...because I'm not sure how long they would take to load on a dial up computer...

save it in ut pc
open AIm-->preferences--->buddy icons-->select my buddy icon-->then click search in my pc--->find the AIm icon u saved and it's done :P

is that what u wanted to know?

open it with paint or something like that and click save as, then save as type, and choose Jpg or gif. ??? that's how i've been doing it...
