Vanessa to possibly collaborate with Carole King

Vanessa was interviewed briefly on Entertainment Tonight last night (6/17) about the new issue of InStyle which has a feature on younger singer/songwriters with their older idols (Michelle Branch w/ Stevie Nicks, etc).  Vanessa's photo is with Carole King.  They were both at the piano together and Vanessa said they might possibly collaborate in the future.

I saw the ET report and it made me smile. Didn't Carole just looks so beautiful and radiant. She must be the nicest person on this earth full of so much heart. I haven't heard a lot of Carlton's stuff but the couple of songs I have heard sound OK. She seems very talented, can't wait for the colaboration.

no offense to Carole King fans, but i really cannot see Nessa collaborating with Carole. Nessa's stuff is so moody and Carole's is (i don't know how to describe) old and happy. lol.  i don't really like Carole's style. I like Nesssa's moody style more, and i hope she keeps it at that.

I disagree, some of Carole's music is "old and happy," though songs like "so far away" and "It's too Late" are far from happy.

I was trying to find pictures of her and nessa at the piano, but couldn't find them, but that is Carole.
