Well I guess you have all heard of the lovely and amazing Delta Goodrem so I wont post about her in here because Elly has made a thread so Im going to tell you about a few new Australian Artists that you wouldnt of heard of.

Michala Banas
Michala has just released her 1st single called 'Kissin the Wind' and yes shes an actress lol.
She stars in a popular Aus show called Always Greener but she has seriously been singing longer than she has been acting.
Shes been in a few bands but wanted to go it alone.
So if you like could you please check her out?

Candice Alley
Candice was picked up by a radio stations record label called "Australian First".
Her new single 'Falling' is a keeper.
I love it to bits and its doing really, really well in the charts over here.
So please please pleaseeee download 'Falling' by Candice Alley you will not regret it.


Amiel
Amiel has been around for ages, her 1st song was Addicted to Base with Josh Abrahams (Puretone) its a really beaty song.
Here last song was called Lovesong but her new single is Obsession (I love you).
She has a real mellow sound but they are all great songs.
So if you like you could check her out aswell

Katie have you heard of Alex Lloyd? My roomate spent a semester in Australia and played his CD constantly when she came back. I liked it alot , especially the song Green.

Yeh sure do, he has two cds called Black the sun and Watching angels mend.
Green is off watching angels mend, they are both cool cds
hes won so many awards over here including Best male singer.

Hes a cool singer, but damn u should have seen him at the aria awards, he was malling his girlfriend LOL, the camera would zoom in on them and they would be all over each other haha.
Sure u needed to know that haha.

Theres also a band called Powderfinger who kinda have the same music style as Alex Lloyd.
Some of their songs are, My happiness, These Days, and Treat me like a dog.
My sisters boyfriend loves them so he plays their music alot, they r cool

Mandy Kane
Mandy Kane is another Aussie act.
I hated his song the first few times I heard it but now I think it rocks!
It is called Stab!
Its the perfect song if you just feel like screaming or killing yourself (I dont advise you do that but thats what sort of song it it.)  :wink:
The lyrics are awesome and its just a song that you need to be in the mood for.
I recomend it if you have just broken up with someone or are feeling a bit angrey.
