It's only 5 bucks to set up an account and have it paid for two months.  After two months are over you can keep paying, or just have a free account for the rest of your freaking life.  If you want one, pay.  That's all I can tell you.  *shrug*

While I'd love to have one, I'm not going to pay to have it.  In fact, if I put the $5 on there right now, it'd bounce (really, no kidding).  That's how broke I am.  College kid paying it all by himself with no federal help--plus my job of officiating sports is out of season.

And yeah, I am a college kid too, paying for school all by my lonesome with no Federal Aid...I'm just saying if you want one that bad, 5 bucks isn't hard to come by...a pack of gum here...a Big Mac there...then you have it.

Seriously kids, one day you won't have any money for a Big Mac and you'll miss it.  Like, I don't miss going to Red Lobster or TGI Fridays or Applebees.  I don't miss those places.  I just want a really juicy, fast food hamburger.  You'll be amazed at what you miss.

I don't eat out hardly at all.  Maybe Taco Bell or Subway, but otherwise I eat what I've got at home.

I like my job...it doesn't end when the seasons change.

Seriously, I've tried.  I really have.

A) No one is hiring.  This is a VERY small town (pop. 20k during term, about 200 not during term) and during the summer all the places 'round here cut their staffs to bare minimum.

B) When I do find a place willing to hire me, they won't hire me when I tell them I'm only needing a job until Aug 9 (when my HS football officiating starts back up) they run away.

What bumms me out, is I have 0 interest in actually having a journal.... (if I wanted one, i'd code one on my homepage since it's open source) but sometimes it's fun to respond to other peoples journals and I can only respond as anony-moose right now.

Not that I don't appreciate WHY they do it that way; cause it makes a LOT of sense.  Just that it's inconvenient for me.
