I have an autographed copy of "Genuine" that I picked up at Spirit West Coast. She used to do Christian music. I was there when she announced she was going into secular music. The crowd didn't like it much. BAAAAADDDDD idea, announcing it like that.

why did she decide to become POP?? just cerious.........It's interesting...she's ok but I would NEVER have listened to her if she kept doing christian music...I hate christian music......due to the fact I'm not christian and if my mom heard me listening to that stuff she would probably kill me

i like Stuck, it's pretty groovy, especially the opening line.  Haven't heard any other stuff though.

She was doing pop. Just Christian pop. As you can imagine, it's very deep and fun stuff.

You ask why she went secular? Because there is little money in Christian pop. And the whole "sexy" thing is looked down on.

Personally, I didn't care for the album that much. I just had a chance to get an autograph... so I took advantage of that. I also got Switchfoot (different year) and Rachel Lampa.

I just mentioned all this because it was an act of utter stupidity to announce being signed to a secular label at a Christian music festival. Many of the people that attend these things think all secular music is evil. If these people weren't Christian, they would be apt to lynch her after saying that.
