---a question about the lyrics thread

Vanessa played Morning Sting at the Savannah show, and to me, the lyrics sounded a lot clearer and it sounded like she was saying "Well, my disease, it's just a case of morning sting" and instead of "And brrr," I'm almost positive it's "Can't cut a girl and burn"

well, it could be anything. you know, i only have 1 recording to get the lyrics off of. and i only posted what i thought it was
it could be burn. i donno. i just didnt hear the N in burn so i figured it was bur, which i thought made sence what with the "cover me now" that follows

Also, in the booklet for Harmonium, some of the lyrics for Who's to Say (it's written as 'who's to say i can't live without you) Annie (if i drank too much and i am wreckless, just this once would you forgive this, i hold onto days gone by) Private Radio (when the night comes, i can hear it.... catch me not, can't call me later) C'est la Vie (here in my lonely) She Floats (got not secrets though i'm told)

I had "C'est La Vie" right originally, and then gave in to what I read here, but I was right to begin with!

It does say "not", but then again, in the WH lyrics it say's "and i prey it never fades" (notice spelling) and in Private Radio, there's also a mistake "It's rhythm grooves...." I know. I'm picky. But what the hell :razz:

The programme/poster in 'Harmonium' is so full of spelling errors and other typos.  So don't get all upset if there's a letter or two wrong here and there.  One of the first things I noticed after I opened it up is that the lyric type goes suddenly from regular capital and lowercase lettering to capitals and small capitals about halfway through "White Houses":

he's so funny in is bright red shirt    <-----there's another misspelling there

And then it's like that for the rest of the songs.

I've noticed a lot of people have been saying "who's to say we won't fade today?" when it really sounds like she's singing "fade to grey," which is also what is printed in the liner notes. also, in the liner notes it says "who's to say i can't live without you?" which i think makes sense, since in that line she's probably saying to her parents, "what makes you think i can't live without you?" or something like that lol ok i'm done... for now
