after 19 months of waiting and traveling like 3000 miles to see her i finally met Vanessa Carlton!!! i cant even begin to say how happy i am!
Tricia and Katia interviewed her backstage after the central park show (which she did awesome in, singing San Francisco, Ordinary Day, Rinse, Papa, Twilight and A Thousand Miles). They asked her if she would come out and say hi to the Nessaholics since a couple of us had traveled very far (Jacquie and I came from Los Angeles). She said yes!! She coulda stayed inside with her friends and her mom but instead she came out in the rain to meet us! that was sooooo nice of her!
when i saw her coming out with Tricia and Katia i couldnt believe it! i was sooo nervous and shaking while i met her! i'm not sure exactly what she said but i think it went she said "I heard a couple of you came from very far?" and i said "yeah, Los Angeles!" and she said "wow, nice to meet you! what's your name?" and shook my hand. and i said "Holly" and that she did awesome and that i am a big fan. I then gave her this unicorn statue i had gotten her (i gave smaller unicorns to some nessaholics before the concert) and she said "thankyou". i also got a picture with her and her autograph!
i'm still sooooo excited over this! i cant believe it finally happened! it was a dream come true, i wanted to meet her more than anyone!
that night i got soaking wet in the rain, was hungry cause i barely ate that say and was really tired... but i didnt care about any of that cause i met her!!!
Tricia, i especially have you to thank!!! not only did you help me meet Vanessa but thanks to you i didnt have to walk back to my hotel in the rain, at 12:30am in NYC! lol... i was very scarred i would have to do that so thanks to Fergie and You i didnt have to! Thanks for walking me back! i hope we can hang out again soon when we go back to cali! have a great time on the rest of your trip!
And Nikkee!!! thanks for getting me the ticket!!! hopefully i'll see you when you go back to school! have fun seeing your boy today! :wink:
and thanks Nelly, Jacquie (maybe i'll see you at the airport since our planes leave at the same time) Let, David, Andrew, Jason, Dan, Justin, Dave, Toni, Taylor, and Tatiana! it was great meeting you all!!! (sry, if i missed anyone its cause i wasnt introduced to you) and dinner was alot of fun! despite the wait! lol.
