I always make up my own words and am with Katia on the something something but here's what I can come up with:

I, I know what you've been
like a boy in summer gets his first kiss (I can be and am probably am way off but that's is what I heard) love... something something

now I am walking with the living, I always like (again I can be totally wrong) Steinbach novels or is it something candles? old something something

we're back in San Francisco, we're back, we're back, we're back in San Francisco (repeated a lot

now, I feel the ever after (there was so much emotion during that part.

this song has great piano work.

ugh, I know I am way off but that's what I got so yeah, we'll find out soon I am sure ;) can't wait!!

I don't remember anything about San Francisco.

I was too caught up in the moment.  It was a beautiful thing.

I was even wearing a San Francisco shirt.

Ahh...good times.
I think you underestimate the level of my sneakiness

I've heard it 3 times... but do I remember any of it? Nope, barely, lol, I have a bad memory. I was just in awe. Everything I do know has been mentioned in this thread already.

SF Lyrics - 1st attempt
« Reply #55 on: July 12, 2004, 08:00:27 am »
I, I know what you did
Like a boy of summer gives his first kiss
And love, is dancing on my finger
He got to the heart of the matter and lingered
And now, I'm walking with the living
I always liked steinbeck and those old men whistling

We're back, we're back in San Francisco
We're back and you tell me I'm home

Talkin' in the mission
Over coffee, this is my utopia
And then, I'll be your lady
As the ocean rises, the sun is fading

We're back, we're back in San Francisco
We're back, we're back in San Francisco
We're back, we're back in San Fran--

And now, I feel the ever after
Over red wine on the eve of summer
The buzz, the buzz of the city
As we settle in it's majesty
And I, I know what you did
Like a boy of summer gives his first kiss

We're back, we're back in San Francisco
We're back and you tell me I'm home

You tell me I am home
You tell me I am home
You tell me I am home
Back in San Francisco

And I know what you did in San Francisco
And I know what you did in San Francisco
San Francisco
San Francisco
