"According to a news report from today's episode of 'On-Air with Ryan Seacrest', Avril Lavigne will be doing an upcoming mall tour to support her upcoming album. If you go to Avril's official website and join TeamAvril, you can be notified about any upcoming mall appearances 48 hours in advance."

TORONTO/NEW YORK (Billboard) - Avril Lavigne (news) is planning a 21-city shopping-mall tour in support of her sophomore album, "Under My Skin."

The free acoustic performances will be announced in each city via radio and e-mail messages sent to fans pre-registered through the singer-songwriter's official Web site (http://www.avrillavigne.com) just 48 hours prior to her appearance.

The only confirmed stops are in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver; dates and details of those appearances have not been revealed.

Due May 25 via Arista, "Under My Skin" features production by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park) and Butch Walker, and includes a guest appearance by former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody. The first single, "Don't Tell Me," is due at U.S. radio in mid-March.

"Under My Skin" is the follow up to Lavigne's smash 2002 debut, "Let Go," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the hits "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi." The set has sold 6 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Lavigne will be among the performers at Canada's 2004 Juno Awards. She is nominated for the Juno Fan Choice award, as well as in the music DVD of the year category for her release, "My World."

FLASH AUDIO PLAYER
It's got a few tracks from her new album. They sound good. Sadly they dont have "Nobody's Home" on there. I'll have to wait till I have the CD to hear that one.

She came to Cincinnati (Florence Mall), but I missed the concert. Not that I missed much, though.

notice how the plot of her BSIDE song "I Don't Give A Damn" is quite similar to her single "Don't Tell Me"?

I saw her cd in stores yesterday here.
Is it released earlier in Europe? that's weird...
I didn't buy it though because BMG cds are copy protected here and I can't make mp3s for my mp3 player with them.
I'm not gonna pay for a cd I won't be able to listen to on my walkman!
Plus it was like $20!
