I have heard that interpretation before.  Because apparently back in the day it was unthinkable to have sex with someone and then NOT spend the rest of your life with them.  If you did, there was a good shot you were in for a stoneing.

However, the modern catholic church (not the bible) uses the modern definition of marriage... and since CeCe is a catholic, that is what is important.

That's right.  io has an io-Jr.  He is 8.  Anyway, His Mom was my first when I was like 21.  I am cool with that.  As much as I wanted to have sex since I was 12 or 13, I am glad that I didn't till later.  Also,  I am totally down with sex with some one you really adore.  I am not too hip on hooking up with chix from clubs and doing that whole scene.

i know...i understand because I go through this with a lot of people....and thanks...its not that I dont want to listen to your "be careful"...its just that I've heard so many by now that it really makes no difference to my caution...in fact I was predisposed enough to be cautious in the first place that no ones "be careful" has made any difference.

and I dont see how most of the situations like the one I'm in turn out bad...how would that be?

I think what Andrew is trying to say, is your age difference is - You don't normally find a 15 year old girl dating a 20 year old guy. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but you just don't usually see it. And sometimes when you do hear of that, relationships, they don't last very long because of the ages, and because if the guy is 5 or so years older than the girl, and especially if they're both that young, the guy isn't going to be as responsible. That's not always the case though, so don't think I'm being stereotypical or anything. :D

Plus, if you all love each other - That's really good, so. And Andrew's just trying to forewarn you so you're not hurt (not that he's sure you will be).

I can see and understand what you mean, and I would probably think the same. But our circumstance is pretty unique. I dont really get along with anyone my age. We'd been friends for several years before we got together because I hung out with one of my older sister's (and his) friends. So we share lots of mutual friends and I dont think theres much maturity discrepancy, or its not an issue I hope. and we've been going out for over six months now, which I think by my age groups standard is pretty good. and yes we do all love each other

we were talking about this in religion today... lol
i heard an interesting point. several people have regreted having sex too soon but not one person has regreted waiting. and people who do have sex in HS or younger are 2 or 3 times as likely to be depressed.
