no offense to anyone... i'm just sharing my opinion but,
i don't think teens should have sex, period. seems down right idiotic to me. but, i guess if you're a risk taker, it doens't really matter what age you are.

yes, i'm a virgin and will be for a while. i believe in the whole wait-till-you're-20-and-are-in-love kind of thing.

I can see and understand what you mean, and I would probably think the same. But our circumstance is pretty unique. I dont really get along with anyone my age. We'd been friends for several years before we got together because I hung out with one of my older sister's (and his) friends. So we share lots of mutual friends and I dont think theres much maturity discrepancy, or its not an issue I hope. and we've been going out for over six months now, which I think by my age groups standard is pretty good. and yes we do all love each other

Yeah, CeCe hit it on the head.  there are exceptions to EVERY rule, but as a almost every girl I knew in HS who dated a guy in this 20's ended up getting cheated on, mistreated, physically abused, pregnant and abandoned or worse.  So while things may work out fine for you, the pure statistics are against it.

The only relationship I know of where an age difference like your worked out was a 23 year old and an 18 year old and they are currently engaged.  But they are the BIG exception cause the 23 year old is a real stand up guy.

we were talking about this in religion today... lol
i heard an interesting point. several people have regreted having sex too soon but not one person has regreted waiting . and people who do have sex in HS or younger are 2 or 3 times as likely to be depressed.

Ummmmm MANY MANY MANY people regret waiting.  I know atleast 3 girls who regreted waiting too long and one who STILL regrets it.

It's easier to get it out of the wya when you are young and awkwardness is expected.  When you get in your 20's and meet someone your partner is going to EXPECT you to be atleast competent.  Most guys in their 20's don't want to have sex with a virgin because of the guilt factor that goes along with it.

No, you should wait until you're like 30 or something... at least what my parents would say. :)
PErsonally, you really can't know how you truly feel about someone when youre 13, 14, 15 And the fact that all these kids are getting knocked up this young is disconcerting. We already have 6 billion people in the world. No need to add more right now, really.
You have your whole life to do, well  that, and in the meantime you could be doing something much more crunk like playing video games :D

Video Games > Sex?

I've played a lot of good video games, but that my dear friend, is NOT a leap I would make.

All I know is A Gamecube won't leave you with little Game Boys running around or give you STD's :)
It's just that sex is fine and all, but not when you're like our age, because it impacts you so much on a physical and emotional scale and some people may not be able to handle that the way they would a few years later.

Alright..30? lol that seems okay but i would rather not wait till that minute your partner may need to spread out the viagra....being the virgin i am, i hope to expierence my first time with someone who will make me truly happy, not soon, but soon enough.....(atleast not when i'm 38 0r 45)...hehe....i'll just feel completely wasted and besides i want it to be beautiful (and not like in those romantic movies....which is overrated)..i like video games though..i think its the better solution then whats being shown in theater's these days..or on late night tv....

Besides most guys just seems to want to get off for the pleasure of it though..i dont want to feel used..i want everything worthy of it all....trust me if i wanted to have sex so desperately now i could go knock on any guys door and i bet i wont get turned down..that is how sick the world can be today..for the most part some thinks sex is funny to play with..its def. not...i would rather regret waiting then regret having a baby or catching some std......etc.

Valid.  If a person feels uncomfortable about sex on an emtional level then her or she should wait a few years.  I agree completely.

And I guess if you are waiting a few years, video games is as good a way to wait as any!

And if my gamecube ever game me the Clap, i'd be most displeased

How do you know sex isn't "funny to play with"?  You've never had sex!

Just because YOU view sex as something special doesn't mean everyone has to.  To some people it's nothing but pleasure, and I think that's just as valid as viewing sex as a sign of love.

if you practice safe sex and make sure your partner is in it for the same reason as you, then everything will be perfectly fine.

I will concede that some people see sex as just a thing for pleasure, but I will not accept that viewpoint as valid.  Some people write bad checks to buy things that they really need.  Maybe they need the things, but the check is not valid.
