That explains a little about the PSAT National Merit Scholarship thing.
I think you underestimate the level of my sneakiness

I HATE standardized tests. l LOATHE and DETEST them with a passion beyond all passions. They are simply EVIL, and the GRE is the worst of all. I did pretty well on the sat.....but this is just.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I HAAAAATE THE GRE!!

It's a grad school admissions test put out by the same people who put out the SAT. Apparently, they are pretty similar.

yes similar, except that the gre is like 1000000 times more evil b/c

1.its on a computer that times everything to the second
2 you cannot use a calculator
3 you can't skip questions and go back later, you have to answer everything and you only see one question at a time.
4 every time you get a question right the next one is harder and everytime you get one wrong the next is easier (ok...punish me for actually getting stuff right...thanks)
5. Its just EVIL

The test is designed to make people like me who have standardized math problems to beging with, fail miserably. Its unfair and completely EVIL

grrr I am still so pissed off about this test I have been up since 6:30am.

No calc and it's adaptive? At least it's adaptive, which means it's a shorter test. I would blow it without my calc. All I would need was a simple four function + exponentiation one.

I'm not sure if she wants me posting her score or not, but she got it back immediately (it was a computerized test) and she bombed math, while getting a pretty respectible verbal.

If she wants to post her score, she can.

i got my scores back and......I got a 1080! i know that it's not an exceptional score, but it's a lot better than my first score (940) and worked really hard. how did everyone else do?

oh and did anyone take the ACT's?
