awesome jess!!!

So... i got accepted to all three of the schools i applied to now.  D'Youville College, Niagara University, and College of Saint Rose.

And i just got somethin in the mail from the financial aid office and Niagara saying i was awarded an achievement scholarship of 7,500 per year- yay! Hopefully i get those from DYC and St Rose :wink:

Now its time to do some serious visits to those schools :D

LMAO that's what my friend Lesley and I were like the other night. We both got in to our choice colleges and it didn't really hit us till we started talking about it :-P

ok, i decided to update since i have a pretty good idea of where i'm going now...
Point Loma Nazarine rejected me... oh well... I could kinda get the feeling that even though I am a Christian, I don't think I'm enough for them. They're pretty strict. I don't think I'd be completely comfortable with going to worship 3 times a week anyways.
University of San Francisco waitlisted me... so i'm still waiting to hear further from them
University of the Pacific accepted me, and I'd be happy to go there, so that's cool! It seems like an awesome place, and I know 2 people there who will be juniors next year. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
I'm still waiting on University of Miami, so that's still an option for now

So right now it looks like I'll be heading up to northern cali since i'd be a bit too scared to go to Miami! It's too far! UoP and USF are only about a 6 hour drive away... so i could come home some weekends if I felt like it.
UoP  is the most likely one at the moment. Go Tigers!!!

going to UoP woulld be good, because it's not like i wouldnt know anyone. My best friend might go to Davis, so that'd be cool, it's not too far! And the mother of these girls ive been babysitting for 4 years went there and knows a girl who is a junior there currently who would be willing to "adopt" me till i get more comfortable. And a close family friend will be a junior there as well! The whole moving so far away from home thing kinda freaks me out, but i think it'd be ok!  :)

Aw awesome Holls!  :D

I have yet to make my decision... grrr.  Still waiting on my financial aid packages, which should have been here by now.

Soo its either D'Youville or Saint Rose... in other words- Buffalo or Albany :D  Cuz I'm sure hardly anyone knows of those schools.
