Oh, man! She's an incredibly awesome guitarist with a freakishly crazy Stanley Jordon-esque two-tapping style!  I know that sounds odd but I don't know how else to describe it! :D

I heard her tonight on Conan and I was blown away!  Awesome musician!  I do believe I might just go buy the album based just on what I've heard tonight.

Yeah!  That's how I found out about her.  I actually saw a commercial for the show prior to it coming on and I went to her website just based on what I saw on the commercial!  Then when I saw her play on the show I was even more amazed.  Absolutely awesome!

I just saw her on the rerun of Conan on Comedy Central and she was soooooooooooooooooooo bada$$!!!! I'm sold!!! I ran down the hall to my pc because I saw this thread today but had no idea who she was. She was playing the guitar almost like it was a piano at times.

"Kaki is a 24 year old instrumental guitarist with a unique style who has recently been out on tour supporting Tim Reynolds, Victor Wooten and Mike Gordon of Phish. In addition to her own shows, she performs chapman stick and percussion in the off-Broadway smash Blue Man Group band. Look for Kaki on a limited number of live dates in 2003 and then back on the road in 2004 -- see tour dates."

i went to an equestrian competition on saturday, and i happened to notice this guy was reading an article on kaki king. lol, i was like "oh! i know who she is now!". it had a big pic of her, so thats how i noticed... i think it was the LA times, but i'm not sure
