Hah! Yes! I'm going to his concert in NYC on November 19th and the venue holds 250 people maximum. The only way to get tickets (or so I think) is if you're a local-83 member. So if you are one, you should definitely consider going, it looks awsome.
Acutally 250 tickets are being given out, 50 of them are saved just for 83 memebers. The rest you can win or whatever. Cause my radio station was running a contest to get them!! Here is the message from the local 83

50 Tickets to John's NYC show just for Local-83 members!
We know you have been anxious to see John perform again and now here's
your chance. On Friday November 19th, John will be playing a special
benefit show at the Housing Works Used Books Cafe in New York City. All
proceeds will go to Housing Works, a non-profit organization that
provides housing, health care, job training, advocacy and many other
services for homeless New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS.
This will be an intimate show with only 250 tickets available. But 50
of those tickets will be reserved exclusively for Local 83 members, with
a 2 ticket limit per member. The ticket presale will begin on Monday
November 8th at 10am Eastern Time. So be sure to log into the ticketing
section of Local 83 on Monday to get your tickets because they will go
