This is a really good show, you should check it out Tuesdays at 9

Arrogant and assured, Nathan is the star of the high school basketball team and hails from a wealthy family. Quiet and driven, Lucas is the only child of a single working mom. He is also a legendary playground basketball player. After growing up on opposite sides of the tracks in the same North Carolina town of Tree Hill, the half-brothers suddenly find their lives colliding when a twist of fate puts Lucas on Nathan's high school basketball team, and the two boys compete--not only for control of the court, but also for the heart of Nathan's beautiful girlfriend, Peyton.

CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY (Lucas Scott)- he is a hottie
JAMES LAFFERTY (Nathan Scott)
HILARIE BURTON (Peyton Sawyer)
PAUL JOHANSSON (Dan Scott)
BARRY CORBIN (Whitey Durham)
BETHANY JOY LENZ (Haley Reed)
with CRAIG SHEFFER (Keith Scott)
and MOIRA KELLY as Karen- Lucas' mom kinda weird to see in a mom role

I know some people won't like it cause it has Hilarie Burton but she is actually getting better as the episodes go by.

The theme song is by Gavin DeGraw so that is also a plus.

i missed it tonight Let, did anything huge happen?

p.s.-the mom is Moira Kelly who played the bitchy ice skater in The Cutting Edge!  I keep waiting for her to say to Luke "forget basketball!" and whip out the skates!

I know that is why I can't see her in that role. That was always one of my favorite movies.

Tonight there was this father son basketball game. Lucas asked Keith to be his fill in father and of course Dan was all over Nathan playing well etc. etc. drama. It was the anniversary of Peyton's mom's death so she was having issues. Lucas saw Haley giving Nathan a hug and he got all mad at her. Oh and Lucas wants to change his last name.

Moira Kelly was in the original cast of The West Wing too, I think.  Anyway, thanks for the update!!!

I don't know!  I'm thinking he might hook up with Brooke later even if he choses Payton.  I really like Brooke, she remonds me of Carly from General Hospital before she went all coma crazy.  I thnk Hilarie has gotten a little better with her acting.

I like Brooke too. He will probably start off with her and eventually go back to Peyton. Kinda a backwards Dawson's Creek. Yes Hilarie has gotten better. I hope that Nathan doesn't screw over Hayley.
