well, im a big fan of Counting Crows so I read all of Adam's updates. you may or may not know that they never actually met to record BYT or anything. He posted this yesterday. I thought it was so cute.

BIG YELLOW TAXIS: So I’m pulling up to the hotel in New York City coming in from Berkeley at about 1am last night and there’s this girl standing on the curb who looks strangely familiar. I’m staring at her through the window trying to figure out how I know her. I get out of the car and she looks at me and says, “Adam? Are you Adam?” I said yes and she says, “Hi, I’m Vanessa, I sing with you sometimes.” It was Vanessa Carlton. How wild is that? So we finally met. She was really cool.
