about the shaving her hair off comment -----
I can only speak from the experience with my friend Julia - but after a few months of chemo treatment her hair thinned gradually (she didn't brush it as often as usual out of fear for losing it) - eventually she had little left and it all fell out - during the whole process she got a natural hair wig that can be styled and cut - and she still wears it even though she is in recovery and cancer free because her hair is growing in darker, thinner, and slowly - but everyone tells her, that she has the most beautiful hair - she should be a pantene model - the color is so beautiful and her hair is so healthy - and it's a wig and they don't know about her cancer and everything --- so thats my little story - everyone is different - but julia didn't start losing hair until a good like 2 months into treatment and at that point it was slowly thinning... so i know katie already said this - but i am sure that's her real hair!
Stephy i bet your friends hair is beautiful.
Im sure Delta's will grow back more beautiful than ever.
I havnt known any girl who suffered with cancer, my dad did though.
Well it was a sorta of cancer, he had a brain tumour but he had to have his head shaved because of that.
My uncle is going through much the same thing right now, so im wearing my purple ribbon for alot of people I have known who has had cancer and not just Delta.
Sad times.
But looking on the brighter side these ppl are strong and will get through it.
