SEX!!

Sorry.  I couldn't think of a relevant way to change the topic of this thread to sex--which is mandatory for me--so I had to just be blunt.  Forgive me.

Come on.  Two off topic posts is hardly enough to declare the thread derailed.

Oh yes.  I'll help you out here: There were four off topic posts, here's another.  4+1=5.

I chose fruit cause it technically is. I think fruits grow above ground (as the tomato does) and vegetables grow below ground.
But i still think of it as a vegetable because i always think of fruits as being sweet, unlike the tomato. The cherry ones are a lil sweet, but not enough.

corn grows above ground....are they fruit?? this is confusing me now. We need to find a nessaholic botanist.

IS that a fruit?

and It's the seed thing, not where it grows. . . .

besides, you'd get different opinions from a chef, than you would a botanist . . I'd tend to think

lol, i said i wasnt sure

today in english class we had to do this stupid debate thingy. I was a person who loved country music and my topic was fruit...so I brought up tomatos...lol just because of this thread...and me and my friend fought vigerously re fruit/veggie. It was so funny. I mentioned the sqush factor...lol then the group beside us started to debate the same thing. It was so funny. pointless too.

It's a fruit - It's got seeds.

Now, don't get all but-corn-has-seeds-and-corn's-a-vegetable. NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

:D I hope everyon has fun this Thanksgiving.

PS Without tomatoes 'cause there are never to-mates at my Grandmother's, and that's all that counts, so.

Corn IS a seed if I remember correctly.  The cob is.

There are even different BRANCHES of fruits.... like Peas are Legumes....

i voted for vegetable, although i think it's fruit but everyone says it's a vegetable (at least that i asked hah), and it was a good reason for it being a vegetable too..but my apparently short term memory span has led me to forgetting it
