still nothing here either, i rushed home to check, i didnt even take my backpack, shoes or anything off before i got on to see! lol....

seriously... its an awesome contest, but it was set up and handled really badly. oh well... i guess thats all they can do on the spur of the moment.

its only 12:45pm here in Cali... and if they do have the normal 8-5 business hours, then we have over 4 hours for them to tell us something.

i think that in the email they should have told us
1) when the deadline was
2) when they will let us know by
3) how they will contact us

i just cant believe they didnt do that. at first i didnt mind, but now since its 3 days before the event and they havent told us anything, it sucks!

  :(

whether i'm chosen or not... i need to make plans, lol, i have a life.

haha, but whatever happens, i will be hanging out with VC this weekend!
either Vanessa Carlton... or my friend who has the initials VC, she's like "well, if you dont get chosen, we can do stuff this weekend"

I spoke w/ Jaclyn again.  I'm very appreciative that she's been willing to take so many calls from me but i can't emphasize enough that they DO NOT have time to handle calls/emails/IMs from numerous different sources.  Vanessa is going through the letters directly and has not responded with all the names as of us.  (Isn't it neat that Vanessa is going through them herself?!).  They *hope* to let the winners know tomorrow and can't emphasize enough that they understand where everyone is coming from and how doing this last minute was not the optimal solution.  I informed them that we have many people posting here, checking their email often, and really looking forward to getting the results.  They do not believe they will be able to respond to every email and will only have the time to notify the actual winners so if anyone finds out, we need to post here so the others know definitively.
