I doubt they would pay attention to them since they've already done the reading part of the contest.

The best option would probably be if someone can't go to suggest Gina as she is relatively close in locale.

joeyyy, absolutely dont do that. Please. It's fine.... Gina will live... its not like I'm giving up on meeting her for more than like 2 seconds. I WILL... its my dream, I'll get to someday! Let these guys have they're chance, and not make a big deal about those who didn't get chosen.    We're all true fans, and like Nikki said to me "Atleast Vanessa read what you had to say, and she knows how you feel."  I agree, I'm so happy that she even read it!

I am so happy and proud of EVERYONE who entered!  It takes a lot to write what Vanessa means to you, and that's some really deep and emotional stuff right there.  Those of us who did not get an invite, please keep in mind that although we are not going to meet Vanessa and the fabulous NESSAholics, Vanessa did take the time to read every submission.  She knows what we wrote to her and how much she means to us.  Plus, we still have a claim to fame, we can make our friends watch the DVD and go "Hey, I know them!!!!!"  Congratulations to all who are going, you all deserve it.

You'd think they'd have picked some alternates...however you'd also think they'd have informed the alternates as well to be on standby ... so I don't know how they are going to work it.
