anyone know if it is DEFINITELY still going on? i dont wanna drive 2 hours in a blizzard only to find it was cancelled. i tried calling the place and they said they didnt know and i would have to contact the organizer. they dont know who that is. hmph.

no idea Nicole, I am planning to go but it is just a train ride for me, I would think if it was canceled they would send out an email

ok,  8O  8O  8O shoveling snow to clear my driveway took WAY longer than expected...
so i wont be taking the 10:00 bus, since its after 10 now...

that means i have to take the 12:00 bus...

i HOPE that it only takes 2 hours and i get there @ 2/// AHHH!!!
omg, i hope i can get there in time!!!! 8O


my sister still has to eat and take a shower :oops: bLaH!! i hope that doesnt take her too long, cause we NEED to catch that 12:00 bus!

this really really sucks

yeah tell me about it. My flight was at 6:30, it got delayed until 8. The captain decided to have everyone board so that way when we got word we could just go. So we loaded up and we pulled out to the jet way to wait at the end of the runway. About 7:30 we got word that our flight was cancelled. There were people on the plane who were cancelled last night. He said that Delta pushed back the times because they only had limited space in the terminal parking or what not. Then he said that there was only one runway at LGA and that last night the plowers pushed the snow into our ramp. I was on a baby plane where you have to walk down. So we drove back to the terminal. I attempted to find another flight but with so many cancellations and re-ticketing people there was nothing that would get me into NYC until after 4 and later.

I even went to other airlines and the 9am on Continnental was even cancelled.

So yeah, very sad but what can you do?

aww that really sucks i wish they would just reschedule! im so sad cuz i feel like im missing out on something so awesome. if it was just a concert i wouldnt feel so bad. i really wanna attempt to drive but itz bad here, and i know itz much worse in jersey and ny.  :cry:
