back home we used to go to Twin Sisters Christams Tree Farm and cut down our own. It always took forever cause we'd see one, then my brothers or mom would then we would keep looking and forget where we saw the good one.

I used to have a fake one but the past two years I didn't put it up cause like Katia said and I will add, stupid cat!! He would play with the damn ornaments and almost and I know once knock the damn thing down. More of a pain than anything.

I would rather have a real tree but they are so expensive and well...  the needles end up everywhere.

lol our tree is always real... and always huge, like 9, 10 feet maybe... and we cut it ourselves and stuff.  But lol, in Brasil, the evil family that I was with got a tree that was like 5 inches tall.  Fake of course.  They thought it was the coolest thing and I'm just like, 'riiiiight, okay.'  That was my worst christmas... not cuz of the tree tho -_-

wellz, i dont have any religion, so umm... i guess you could say I'm an aetheist... but trees are pretty, and lol, the lights blink and are pretty... umm... yeah, trees are cool just for the hell of it.

at my mom's house it's always a fake tree - she's severely allergic, and we have two cats. like katia and co. pointed out, cats and trees are a bad mix.

But at my dads, we always get a real tree. Fraiser Fur b/c its the only kind that doesn't make me sneeze. Lol, this year we found a birds nest in the one we picked. we were making it stand straight and there was a piece of plastic bag on one of the branches, and when i tugged on it it wouldn't come out - i was like, wtf? then i looked and saw the nest!

I have never celebrated christmas. Our family just don't. Well this is the first year I've put up a tree and it's real. I got a douglas fir. There was also a noble fur. Which is better? fraiser fur? Never heard of it.

we have a 2 foot fake tree - i want like 7 foot fake tree - it is always dressed in silver, blue, purple, and white lights - due to the multi-religious household - but i love it - i have not decorated due to me not wanting to lately i havent decorated for one holiday this year and i always do all of them !!!

I know..........I might get a tree and keep it around all year when I get another cat.

I miss my cat so much.  Someone like me needs a cat.  But you know that is one reason I WOULD get a tree...so funny.

I live near the forest so if I drive far enough and go to the right place I can get a HUGE tree if need be.  I mean I'm like 25 miles from Lake Tahoe.

fake, we used to get real, but my mom got tired of cleaning up the pine needle things when it was time to take it down, so we got fake...did i mention it rotates?   lmao
