Harmonium(New Album Title) Release Date Moved to June...

I really doubt that the first single will be out in Janurary, seeing as how Vanessa said that she thinks she just wrote a new first single, so it would still have to be recorded and fiddled with and stuff.  I'm betting that the first singles won't be out til a lot closer to the actual release date.

she released atm lloooooooong before BnN came out.

there are some different pros and cons to releasing singles way before the album release compared to the pros and cons of releasing singles during or extremely near an album release. A lot of Japanese artists release 2 to 3 singles before the album release, and some British artists are currently following that trend as well. However, this isn't really happening in the US... The ATM single was kind of an exception (for the record company to see the results of the single first), and it turned out well . Seeing that Nessa already has set such a good reputation with the label, I think the 1st single from her 2nd album will not be like ATM , but it will be released in close proximity with the album.

Yes they do! Their is an adds date which is a date where the record company reccomends radio stations to add the songs. Most radio stations add the song on the date (which is always on a Tuesday) but they can add it before or after if they can get a hold of it.

april would be cool cause its like my birthday month, and 2 months before Harmonium.. so ...2 months of 1 song to get popular and get people excited for Harmonium sounds good.. not too much time and not too small amount of time.
