LOL...I just got home
The show was incredible!
My friend Rene and I were the first ones in line (cause we're dorks like that). At like 6:45, Ben came off the escalator. It seemed like a few people noticed it was him, but not many. I said hi and he smiled at me. *insert fan girl moment* After that, who should show up but Tyler Hilton. Rene and I were both like "Was that Tyler Hilton?!?!?" By the time we realized it, he was gone. LOL Right around 7, we were all invited in. The meet and greet was done right away. Since Rene and I were first, we just took pics...we had nothing for him to sign until after they gave us CD samplers which was after we were done. So anyway, we sat down and goofed off for a little while and then noticed that Tyler Hilton had come back in. We decided to go "get some water" *cough*MeetTyler*cough* and we somehow ended up talking to Tyler as he was leaving for his soundcheck. We went back in the room thing and sat down.
Ben opened with "Give It All Way". He then played "She'll Hear You" followed by "Come On". The last two songs were done on guitar: "Free She'll Be" and "Setting of the Sun". It was amazing how incredible his voice sounded. I'm sure we've all been to shows where the singer sounds like total crap and you can tell they've edited the voice for the album. Not so with Ben. His voice was beautiful and flawless. He is so sweet and unassuming. I can only hope he keeps his wonderful attitude in the future when everyone starts screaming his name.
