there's this Romeo and Juliet version where it has the original print on one side and the 'translation' on the other side. lol. it's halarious but the translation side comes in handy. lol. i'm reading it this year in English one. i'm a freshmen

EDIT: hmm, my thing says i'm 15. lol. i'm pretty sure i'm 14. lol

yea my book was like that, i didn't pay much attention to the translation...

my favorite part was the intro...forgot what that is called...prologue or something like....

uh I tried reading that but I couldn't get past the part where she got up in the cafe and started playing her banjo or whatever. I thought it was corney...but my english teacher(who is a guy) said it was a wicked good book. It just wasn't my style.

that's how my romeo and juliet book was too. I didn't pay any attention to it. My english teacher was wayyyy better translating the book to us. He made it soooo funny. lol

You just gotta get past the first 'corny' bit. Maybe its just the style he writes in, i guess it isn't for everyone.

Oh and at my school some English Lit classes do Shakespeare with sock puppets to make it clearer! Ahhh, my friend did one of Hamlet the other day.

Hell yeah! We read it at school, with a very inadequate teacher, but it was so good nonetheless. I love that book!

yea i like to read. i dont have a book on the go at the minute. i did have stephen kings dreamcatcher but that was way to not for for me.

i am a big fan of fantasy, horror, comedy, what ever. i tend to like most books if i just knuckle down and read them.

reall like stephen king and terry prachette. also i really heart <3 harry potter. im not ashamed to say i was on the point of tears on the last book. harry is so brave <3

I enjoy Harry Potter as well milf, you're not alone.

Right now I'm reading a lot of books for school.  I've been reading Dancing Skeletons by Katherin A. Dettwyler which is a beautiful book about life in West Africa.

anyone read Lord of the Flies? i've been bored in my english class (i've read all the books for this year) so i've just been picking up some that we're going to read next year. but i've heard this book is good..

oh, and yes, i love the Harry Potter books. but i didn't like the 5th one as much, it was still good, but i'd have to say book 4 is the best.

God, that book was dreadful...I got to where I only had 11 pages left in the book, skipped 10 and red the last page...

I read it because in 8th grade I needed a book for Eng. and my teacher suggested it...horrid.

but that is my opinion.

ohhh I need a book to read for my English class....I have to have read 3000 pages by the end of the term...I'm like somewhere around 1200...:S haha oops...

I tried reading the da vinci code but got a little bored with it...I'll go back to it...maybe it is my ADD. :S


Any books that are easy to understand for my mind?? :D
