When did you first become a Vanessa Carlton fan?

For me it was the first time I saw her on TRL, on January 4th 2002. 2 years ago today!

I watched and was glued to the set, before it was over I had a pen and paper ready to jot down her name to look her up on the net, see what more I could find.

I was watching buzzworthy on televison because I was *ahem* depressed, and I saw that some girl was walking into her garage with a tacky outfit and I was like, "god not another michelle branch look-alike, wannabe...." but once I saw her hit those keys and heard that music I was seriously in awe. I quickly memorized everything and wrote all the info that was on my televison screen. looked her up, and I've seriously been happier than ever because of Nessa, I dont know why I just am.
I first heard her my freshman year, middle/end of the school year, now I am a Junior, and I still lover her loads.

I became one before her album was released. I saw the video for "A Thousand Miles" somewhere I forget (TRL Maybe...) and I became addicted and got her single, and became addicted to Twilight...signed up on the O-Board in March of 2002...then you guys know the rest, lol.

man u guys know the dates!!. .. um on da radio .. my dad actually was the one to pick up on it.. we were listening to like Top 40 and he was like, "Are those actual violins I hear?" and it was.. hehe. .. the lady was like, "that's vanessa carlton." and i was like oh.. she prolly wont make it.. after that i got addicted to the song.. got me da single which was on repeat until BnN i think i joined the o-board in june.. haha and there rest is history

Around January 20, 2002 because it was a few days after my birthday. I saw her ATM video on MTV at around 2:30 am. I then knew I was powerless over NESSA. Hi, I'm Steve and I'm a NESSAholic. LOL

I saw the video early in the morning too and was like 8O who is that?
I then saw her on TRL. Found my way to her site when it was like dead and only a few people on and what came next?
