ITS FREEKIN COLD

the northeast is experiencing some unbearably cold temperatures.  Right now here in Binghamton NY its -7 degrees but with windchill it feels like -31 degrees.  In Mount Washington, NH- its -41 degrees and with windchill its -91....GOOD GOD!  We're under a windchill advisory.  We're not supposed to leave the house unless we have to.  Its only getting worse as the night goes on.  Eeep.  Its been way too cold for the last few days!

school was delayed one hour for me this morning... most of the other schools around here were cancelled though.  some are already under delays for tomorrow... but im sure a lot will get cancelled :wink:


Whats it like for all yas who live in the NE too? (temps?)

Omg! That's crazy!  8O

Here it was so warm I was wearing a tshirt and a short skirt today, so looking at the pictures on the news is unbelivable to me! I don't remember ever expiriencing anything below 0 degrees farenhiet!

yeeeah it is pretty crazy... the only good part is getting some time off of school for it, but other than that I HATE that its so cold, its just unbearable lol.

luckies!!!!!

I went to tubaboggin (spell?), like a couple hours from here, and its man made snow! very cool, you get a tube and you can go down different slopes, but the snow gets dirty fast...thats what I dont like, its brown and mushy by like 2pm yuckies!

I'm with Manda,  50 degrees= freezing for me, lol.
When I went to NYC last month I about froze!! Good times though!  :D

You guys are lucky about snow days!!
We had a wind day one day last year, lol, but other than that we dont close down school for weather. I'm sure it's possible though... my school got snowed out a LONG time ago (i'm talking 1930's)! But it's RARE! My freshman year it snowed for 5 mins and it was the most exciting thing ever, lol. There's been days in my school career where we couldnt go to school because of an earthquake, but thank God those are rare!

I'm not the only southern californian who thinks 50 is freezing!

I feel like my fingers are going to fall off in the morning. its so cold!!!

even with mittens, a big sweater, double socks, warm clothes, just not helping me.
